Turn on the iPad by pressing and holding the button on the top right edge of the iPad, then sliding the red bar on the screen of the iPad with your finger.
Step 3:
Answer the following questions........
1) How many screens are there (slide finger to the side to access other screens)?
2) How do you get to the Internet?
3) Click on the Quickoffice App.
Click on the paper symbol in the lower right corner
Click on the newest Document format. (A blue square will be beside it.)
Type in the document. Explore its contents.
What can you do with this application?
4) Choose an app, and spend at least 5 minutes investigating what the app does.
Feel free to spend additional time (if you have it) investigating any of the other apps.
Step 4:
On your Think/Pair/Share card, explain the purpose of the app that you investigated and whether or not you think it would be a useful app for the classroom.
Step 5:
Discuss the app you explored with your partner, and write their comments on the back of your Think/Pair/Share card. Turn them in to Mrs. Starling.
